GERTA ZAIMI(Albanie)

Born in Albania and resident in Florence, has a degree in 1994 in Italian Language and Literature from the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Tirana. Graduated in International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science "Cesare Alfieri", in 2012 she attended the MA in Mediterranean Studies at the Faculty of Political Science "Cesare Alfieri", Florence.
She has worked with Albanian Human Rights Group for many years, and also as legal adviser for seekers asylum and refugees in Italy for NGO.
Actually she is a researcher for the Center in Strategic Studies and International Business of University of Florence. Her interest fields are International Relations, Middle East and Balkans Studies, Turkish Foreign Policy, Human Rights and Political Islam.
She speaks fluent Albanian, Italian, French, English and passive Serbian - Croatian.
